Jewish eye doctor
tells patients about Jesus
gives sight to the blind

Jesus was the ultimate Jewish eye doctor. He gave sight to a man who was blind from birth. Imagine the miracle of being able to see for the very first time.  Jesus asked the man if he believed that He was the Messiah, and the man responded that he would like to believe. Jesus told the man that He was indeed the Messiah, and the man worshipped Him. You see Jesus' primary mission was to heal spiritually not physically.  The man's spiritual eyes were opened when he was miraculously healed, and he believed and worshipped Jesus.  What a gift, to know God and be known by him. How is your spiritual sight? Need a check up? Go to the gospel of John, chapter nine. It is a great story, and it is true!!

Well said,
Life is so much more exciting;
once your eyes are opened...thank you Jesus

Yes Herb once you can see clearly, you can see the work of God in your life and how he blesses you every day!

I thought this poem was more about Japanese nature than it was about Jesus. So, I thought these two lines would be a more appropriate way to end this poem...

Japanese cherry blossoms
Falling to the ground.

After all, it is spring and the cherry blossoms around the tidal basin were beautiful this year during the peak in March.

I posted the above comment in the wrong place. It was supposed to be for the In a Dream poem.

Here is my comment for this poem...

I thought this was about Herb, your husband witnessing about Jesus to his patients. After all, he is a Jewish optometrist and I thought it was a poem about him sharing his new found faith and belief in Jesus.
